Meet The Team

Eneida Talleda
Eneida TalledaSenior Partner

Eneida is creative, optimistic and always ready to take on more.

There might not be sufficient adjectives to describe the juice Eneida Talleda brings in the front door of T&T PR every morning.

“I am one of the two senior partners,” she explains. “That means Phyllis and I do everything from ordering pencils to new business pitches; signing contracts and actually doing the work, which is a lot of writing and a lot of strategizing. I love to solve my clients’ problems, and all problems have a communications component to them.” Eneida knows how to get her clients to where they want to be and accomplish their goals. Spirit and conversation are key.

Eneida strives for visionary leadership in all that she does, whether it’s multicultural messaging, social marketing, community outreach, or Hispanic engagement.

Prior to establishing T&T Public Relations with Phyllis Tucker, this bilingual, seasoned PR professional was a vice president at H+K Strategies where she worked for 17 years in the corporate and marketing services group, developing strategies and programs to reach the Latino community.

Born in Cuba, Eneida and her parents immigrated to America when she was eight years old. She credits her mother with choosing Los Angeles as the family’s new home. Her mother had seen a postcard with blue skies and freeways and said, “That’s a city that’s going places.” Eneida and Los Angeles have been a fine fit ever since. Part of her LA joy comes from frequent excursions with her two adult daughters throughout the area, exploring and seeing the city with new eyes, playing tourists in their hometown.

Eneida’s enthusiasm for her work is unmistakable. “I get up and I’m excited to come to work. I really am,” she reveals.

I love the working together, the teamwork, not just with Phyllis and the team members, but also with the clients, creating something that wasn’t there before.

Phyllis Tucker
Phyllis TuckerSenior Partner

Phyllis Tucker loves listening to her clients. She really does.

Her thought process is not ‘them’ and ‘us;’ it’s just ‘us.’ And that makes her work successful and a whole lot of joy – for everyone.

As senior partner at T&T Public Relations, Phyllis creates and strategizes in a way that develops trust, from small business outreach programs to public education & awareness campaigns. It’s all about communication.

“I just love getting everybody to participate, letting them know I’m hearing them, I’m listening to them,” Phyllis explains. “Our clients and partners are dealing with tough stuff; they’ve got all kinds of demands coming in on them. When you get that and you’re coming with answers, it can be a breeze. We can figure this out together,” she adds. “I think the honesty is what makes it possible to have fun.”

When Phyllis and T&T partner Eneida Talleda started their firm, they already had years of experience to share with their new clients. “It’s about getting each client’s message out in a way that their target audiences will receive it, understands it and take some action,” Phyllis explains. “They want to see some measurable change.”

Prior to launching T&T Public Relations, she was a senior vice president at H+K Strategies. For 14 years, she specialized in internal communications supporting clients like Pacific Gas and Electric Company and Hewlett-Packard, as well as managing award-winning campaigns for the California Department of Public Health.

Originally from Michigan, Phyllis can’t shake that salt-of-the-earth demeanor that defines the Midwest. But these days, she is a true-blue Angeleno. She and her husband have now lived most of their lives in California and their adult sons were born here. She loves the Trojans and the Lakers and brings that winning spirit to work every day.

If part of the goal is to empower a community to be more effective in its own outreach and advocacy, then when that happens and they understand how to communicate better in their world, I would say we’ve done our jobs.

Wanda Flagg
Wanda FlaggPR Associate

Wanda creates change by reaching those in need.

Everything she does is with the goal of building bridges and making meaningful connections. Every day is a collaborative adventure.

Whether it’s education, transportation or conservation, Wanda creates awareness and access to elevate communities and alter lives for the better.

From California Community Colleges to the California State Auditor’s Voter’s FIRST Redistricting Commission, Wanda and T&T have made deep impact on a diverse range of constituencies.

“I’m proud of the consequential work we have accomplished, such as working for underserved populations that deserve better healthcare, helping African Americans to achieve success in higher education, and helping California’s youth to gain valuable job training,” Wanda said.

Wanda spent several years with the Los Angeles Unified School District. She also has worked throughout Southern California and the Central Coast for public housing, workforce development, and public transit agencies in community outreach and government affairs roles.

Originally from Chicago, Wanda is a long-time Angeleno who appreciates the diverse identities of the Golden State. Her work has personal meaning: the future of her son and others like him provides added motivation for her to keep working for the common good.

The multicultural composition and multilingual capabilities of our team mirrors the groups we choose to work for. Each of us comes with unique experiences and views that combine to provide the best possible outcomes for our clients and those they serve.

Christian Uriarte
Christian UriarteAssistant Account Executive

Christian is the go-to guy who delivers a win to the client — with a great sense of humor.

He has a knack for research and is the consummate multitasker, which makes him invaluable to T&T and its clients.

“As an assistant account executive at T&T, I see my role as supporting the team in doing whatever needs to be done to achieve successful outcomes for our clients,” Christian explains.

He enjoys being a part of a close-knit team. “We come in, have great conservations, and then we get right to work.”

Christian takes pride in highlighting and providing resources for California’s communities. Some of the projects he enjoys involve building awareness for important state entities like California Conservation Corps and California Community Colleges.

“You connect with people who are trying to help these communities or just shine light on an issue, then you get to see how that community engages and takes action,” he said.

Being a part of T&T Public Relations has given Christian opportunities to spark his creativity and think out of his comfort zone.

Growing up in Southern California, Christian has always appreciated the state’s beauty and diversity. After living in Tacoma Washington for a brief period, he returned to California to immerse himself in the community that helped raise him.

Just being friendly and listening to people makes a big difference. Most of our clients serve California. They’re all just trying to make the state better. It’s a cool feeling to be helping too.

Pamela Coe
Pamela CoeAccount Manager

Pam understands the power of written communication to make an impact.

She gets excited by every opportunity to write. She also loves engaging with the communities that T&T’s clients serve.

“Being an account manager at T&T Public Relations allows me to indulge my passions every day,” Pam explains. “I focus primarily on African American outreach, writing culturally relevant content and managing community outreach campaigns.”

Pam loves answering the question, “How can we better connect with people in a way that’s meaningful and impactful?”

“We are in a unique position to advise our clients on the perspectives and needs of the diverse communities. Through our partnerships, we are directly and actively engaged with the very people they want to reach.”

Pam has a long history with Eneida Talleda and Phyllis Tucker. She worked work with them for approximately five years at H+K Strategies on various strategic communications and social marketing campaigns. She reunited with them after spending years serving educational institutions and nonprofits in capacity building, program management, community engagement, media relations, and marketing communications roles.

“I’m a Southern California native and raised my daughter here. Though I’ve visited other wonderful states, I can’t imagine living anywhere else.”

At the end of each day, I feel good about the work we did alongside our clients and partners because all that we do is done with the intent of improving people’s lives.
