WE’RE HIRING!:  Account Executive

We are a small PR shop, boasting top-notch clients in government and the private sector. We specialize in multiethnic communications, behavior change campaigns and community and stakeholder initiatives.

We need an Account Executive with experience working in a PR agency; experience working with the African American and Hispanic markets, especially in community outreach and media relations, is highly desirable. This is a hybrid position, with two days in the office.

We need someone to support client accounts with research, event planning and implementation (including staffing), writing, engaging with community-based organizations, securing and managing partnerships, and conducting ethnic media outreach.

Preferred experience:

• 4 – 6 years of PR agency experience
• A bachelor’s degree with a concentration in communications or public relations.
• Multicultural marketing, earned media and communications experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish highly desirable.
• Knowledge of African American market & culture, a plus
• Must be willing to work 2 days a week in our downtown LA office.
• Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills.
• High degree of professionalism
• Social media experience, primarily working with FB, Twitter, and Instagram
• Operates with a high degree of independence.

The salary range for this position at the time of this posting may range from $55,000 to $70,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience of candidate, level of responsibility and qualifications.  We offer a competitive benefits package.
