Challenge: Create a generic media plan and template that could be implemented globally by communicators on the ground.
Strategic Approach: Worked from the inside out by assessing employees’ insights and values, to determine what would work best in each local and create an actionable plan

Tactical Elements:
  • Created a media plan that outlined – for the first time – specific goals, strategies, and tactics for the foundation.
  • Conducted messaging workshop that lead to the development of overarching key messages, meant to assist spokespersons throughout the company in consistently delivering the right messages.
  • Created talking points based on the messages to facilitate delivery of sound bites and the “elevator pitch.”
  • Created a fact sheet and bios to round out the media materials.
  • Created a template news release and media advisory to assist media outreach at the local level.
Other Work
  • Provided leadership support for Avery Dennison’s Global Corporate Communications, including strategic counsel across business and functional units.
  • Supported Avery Dennison’s employer brand campaign.
